AC: Allah is not the same God referred to in the Bible
Some non-Muslims claim that Allah (S.W.T.)Subhanahu wa ta'ala, Arabic for "May He be glorified and exalted", Muslim honorific. is not the same God referred to in the bible by Moses (A.S.)ʿAlayhi as-salām, Arabic for "Peace be upon him", Muslim honorific., Jesus (A.S.)ʿAlayhi as-salām, Arabic for "Peace be upon him", Muslim honorific. and other prophets mentioned in the Bible. Question Is the above statement true? Answer Assalamu 'Alaikum!Arabic for "Peace be upon you", Muslim greeting. Alhamdulillah!Arabic for "Praise be to God", Muslim common phrase. Historically, Islam builds its foundation from the previous revelations (see my discussion from my previous article), the... -
AC: Allah brings about both Good and Evil
Whereas the God of the Qur'an brings about both good and evil, the God of the Bible never engages in evil and is singularly righteous (1 John 1:5). Question Is the above statement true? Answer Assalamu 'Alaikum!Arabic for "Peace be upon you", Muslim greeting. Alhamdulillah!Arabic for "Praise be to God", Muslim common phrase. If we are to interpret the above statement, it seems to suggest that the God of the Qur'an is not righteous since it also brings evil to human beings. If that's what you believed, then let's investigate the Qur'an if such statement is true. God by definition... -
AC: 'Qur'anic Abrogation' (2:106 and 16:101)
Non-Muslims use the following verses to prove the "Rule of Abrogation", a rule that will justify, accordingly, the contradiction of the verses in the Qur'an: We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent? -
AC: Jesus' (A.S.) Miracles are in the Qur'an
Jesus' (A.S.)ʿAlayhi as-salām, Arabic for "Peace be upon him", Muslim honorific. miracles are also depicted in the Qur'an, such as speaking as an infant, healing sickness, raising dead to life, and bringing life by breathing on a clay. For example, the following Qur'anic verses confirm that Jesus (A.S.)ʿAlayhi as-salām, Arabic for "Peace be upon him", Muslim honorific. is the Messiah: This is an account of things beyond your knowledge that We reveal to you [Muhammad]: you were not present among...
